Accident/Incident Reports

Road & Bridge Supervisor, Seth Howard, reported one incident within his department.  An employee was unscrewing concrete forms when a drill bit slipped off of a screw and went into his left index finger.

Melissa Smith stated that we were unable to hire last year’s DJ; therefore, she has contacted Paul Kelley and he is available to provide music for the entire evening for $350.  Jamie Madison motioned to hire Mr. Kelley in the amount of $350, seconded by Seth Howard.

There was a safety suggestion regarding changes needing to be made to the one way parking on the north side of the courthouse on Parallel Street.  The suggestion stated that there isn’t enough room to park as well as vehicles being hit.  Board decided that this should be brought to the commission instead of the safety committee.  Melissa will bring this to the commissioner’s attention.

The next meeting has been set for Thursday, November 17th, 2016.  There being no further business Peggy House motioned to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Seth Howard.
